It's OAP Time

It must be Saga month in Cape Town at the moment because 2 weeks ago we went to an outdoor concert to see Elton John, who was celebrating his 63rd birthday singing to us, “under an African sky”. Again his voice was fantastic and he managed 2 hours and 40 minutes, longer than Tom I agree. But he was sitting down for the whole of that time and I did not notice one pelvic movement let alone a rotation. Not that I want to mark Elton down for this, but he did not even sing all his songs himself, because half way through the concert he had to bring on Annie Lenox to sing Daniel for him. Now I am not sure how old Annie is, but she is no spring chicken, she does however have another amazing voice and a tendency to rotate the pelvic region. I say tendency because Daniel as a song doesn't give many opportunities to really show off in the pelvic region. I think the point I am coming to is that if we all were to sing in the shower, clean our teeth 10 times a day and rotate the pelvis now and again, we should all live to a very old age indeed.
